Gorilla Glue Australia Pty Ltd ACN 609 612 142 and its related bodies corporate (referred to in this document as we, us or our) recognises that your privacy is very important and we are committed to protecting the personal information we collect from you. The Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (Privacy Act), and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) govern the way in which we must manage your personal information and this policy sets out how we collect, use, disclose and otherwise manage personal information about you.
This Policy applies to all Internet sites and mobile applications operated by or on behalf of us (each a “Company Internet Site or App”). It also applies to personal information we may otherwise collect: (i) through our products and services; (ii) when you interact with us by means other than a Company Internet Site or App, for example, in person, by telephone, or at a trade show; and (iii) from our distributors, suppliers, vendors, and other business partners (Business Partners).

Collection
Types of information collected
We may collect and hold personal information about you, that is, information that can identify you, and is relevant to providing you with the goods you are seeking.
The kinds of information we typically collect include your contact information, such as your full name, address, email address, phone number, financial information needed to process payments if you make a purchase, such as credit card or bank account information. Where you are acting on behalf of a business, we may also collect your company name and job title.
We also may collect the following additional information when you interact with us:
- how you use our products when you contact our customer care team;
- any comments, questions, requests, and orders you make;
- information about your preferences, such as your preferred methods of communication and product types in which you are interested;

Information from business partners and other third parties
We collect personal information through our Business Partners. This information may include contact information, such as name, company name, job title, address, e-mail address, and phone number.
We may combine the information we receive from our Business Partners with information that we collect from you or your device, as described above.
Purpose of collection
The personal information that we collect and hold about you, depends on your interaction with us. Generally, we will collect, use, and hold your personal information if it is reasonably necessary for or directly related to the performance of our functions and activities and for the purposes of:
- providing goods to you or someone else you know including carrying out transactions from you or our Business Partners;
- providing you and our Business Partners with a better customer experience in interacting with us which includes website and security improvements;
- communicating with you or your company which includes sending information about your order, responding to your enquiries and complaints, and distributing warranty or recall information;
- providing you with promotional material about other goods that we offer that may be of interest to you;

- our related entities including Gorilla Glue Europe Ltd to facilitate our and their internal business processes;
- third party service providers, who assist us in operating our business, and providing goods to you (including information technology service providers) and these service providers may not be required to comply with our privacy policy;
- our related entities and other Business Partners so that those organisations may provide you with information about goods and various promotions; and
- with third parties in connection with the sale, purchase, merger, reorganization, liquidation or dissolution of our Company, or under similar circumstances. If such an event occurs, we will take appropriate steps to protect your personal information.
We collect personal information to enable us to comply with certain legal obligations including complying with record keeping obligations under or in connection with the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and the A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999 (Cth).
Disclosure of personal information overseas
We are likely to disclose personal information about you overseas. For instance, our related bodies corporate, third party service providers or other recipients may be based overseas or may use infrastructure outside of Australia, including in the United States and the United Kingdom.
Direct marketing materials
We may send you direct marketing communications and information about our services that we consider may be of interest to you. These communications may be sent in various forms, including postal mail, SMS, and email, in accordance with applicable marketing laws, such as the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). You consent to us sending you those direct marketing communications by any of those methods. If you indicate a preference for a method of communication, we will endeavour to use that method whenever practical to do so. Security
We store your personal information in different ways, including in paper and in electronic form on data bases maintained by our service providers. The security of your personal information is important to us. We take all reasonable measures to ensure that your personal information is stored safely to protect it from interference, misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure, including electronic and physical security measures.
Access and correction
You may access the personal information we hold about you, upon making a written request which you can send to Privacy@gorillaglue.com. We will respond to your request within a reasonable period. We may charge you a reasonable fee for processing your request (but not for making the request for access).
We may decline a request for access to personal information in circumstances prescribed by the Privacy Act, and if we do, we will give you a written notice that sets out the reasons for the refusal (unless it would be unreasonable to provide those reasons), including details of the mechanisms available to you to make a complaint.
If, upon receiving access to your personal information or at any other time, you believe the personal information we hold about you is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, please notify us immediately at Privacy@gorillaglue.com. We will take reasonable steps to correct the information so that it is accurate, complete, and up to date.
If we refuse to correct your personal information, we will give you a written notice that sets out our reasons for our refusal (unless it would be unreasonable to provide those reasons), including details of the mechanisms available to you to make a complaint.
Retention
We are obliged to retain certain information to ensure accuracy, help maintain quality of service and for legal, regulatory, fraud prevention and legitimate business purposes.
We will not retain other information for any longer than is necessary for the purpose for which it was or as required or permitted for legal, regulatory, fraud prevention and legitimate business purposes. In general, we (or our service providers acting on our behalf) will hold this information for a period of seven years, unless we are obliged to hold it for a different period under law or applicable regulations.
We may also retain records of telephone calls and any electronic communications for any length of time as required or permitted by any relevant regulatory entity or as required by relevant local laws including those relating to data privacy and security.
Complaints and feedback
If you wish to make a complaint about a breach of the Privacy Act, the APPs or a privacy code that applies to us, please contact us using the details below and we will take reasonable steps to investigate the complaint and respond to you about your concerns within a reasonable timeframe.
We will review all communications and complaints submitted to us in this manner and will aim to respond to you in writing within a reasonable time. If after this process you are not satisfied with our response, you can submit a complaint to the Office of the Information Commissioner.
